Document Owners and Document Coordinators can utilize the Check-In / Check-Out feature to revise and collaborate on documents that are in either Draft status or Rejected status.

  1. Click on the Documents icon.
  2. Click on the Document Management menu item.
  3. Click on the Manage Documents menu item.

4. To check out a document select the ellipsis next to the document that needs to be checked out. Then select Check Out from the menu.

5. The document will automatically download and a Lock the icon next to the document title will indicate that the document is locked from being checked out by another user.

6. Once the user is ready to check the document back in, they can select Check-In from the ellipsis menu.

7. After selecting Check-In menu item from the drop-down, a pop displayed with a message You are about to Check In. Others will now be able to edit. Click on the Continue button.

8. Select the file from the system and click on the Upload button.
