PMP-92800: Ability to Enter Sample Results in units other than mg/m3 and have the application do the conversion.

Configurable: NoYes

  • Title: NA Enable UOM Calculation

  • Default: NA Product

Existing System

  • Sample Results are supposed to be entered by the lab in mg/m3, but this does not always happen causing erroneous data. Users as well as Labs enter the data in other units such as PPM or UG/m3 but the system doesn't identify these units. There is no unit conversion performed by the IH Module.

...

  • User Interface will now have an additional column for 'Lab Concentration' which will display the converted Unit of measurement. System will take these columns into consideration for calculating the sample result.

PMP-92798: IH: Make noise adjustment to the dose results as per Australia requirements

Configurable: Yes

  • Title: EnableAusNoiseAdjustmentEnable Aus Noise Adjustment
  • Public/Private: Private
  • Default: Product

Existing System

  • Shift durations of 10 hours or longer involve a degree of risk greater than that indicated by the eight hour measurement LAeq,8h. This increase in risk arises because of the additional damaging effect of continuous exposure to noise after 10 hours. The risk may be further increased if there is reduced recovery time between successive shifts.

  • Australian Set of Standards that force an extra dba to be added to the result when the user works an extended shift beyond 8 for 10 or more hours. The IH Module only performs calculations based on the shift start time and end time (THE EXPOSURE TIME) AND DOSIMETER RUNTIME. There is no adjustment based on the length of the shift.

...

  • If the customer enters a shift start time and end time that indicates the shift is 10 hrs (600 minutes) or more, the calculated L dB(A) would display at L dB(A) plus 1 or 2 or 3 based on the Australia requirements.
