Existing System:
- A user can create multiple user views. However, they wouldn't be able to share them to any other user. Currently, widget framework is designed to support only filters related to time period.
Purpose:
- To provide more flexibility to define company wide dashboard viewsconfigure multiple data filters for a widget.
Enhanced System:
In the enhanced system,
- View can be be shared with
- All Global Users
- All Scoped Locations.
- All Active Users of Current Location.
- All Active Roles.
- All Corporate Groups and Current Location Groups.
- System Administrator only will have the ability to share the view
User will be able to apply additional data filters apart from time period filter.
User will be able to apply data filter with single selection as well as multi selection.
User will be able to apply multiple data filters.
Framework would support cascading data filters.
Sorting and Multi-data filters would be saved for that layout view. If user adds the widget to any other view, then widget loads data with default filters and sorting criteria.
