DAP-1943 - Enhance Notification Manager - To provide the ability to user to configure alerts and reminders and set recurrence

Existing System: System currently is supporting only immediate notifications. 

Purpose: To be able to configure alert and reminder notifications.

Enhanced System: User would be able to: 

  • Schedule a notification and it would be sent based on the recurrence pattern.
  • Based on the first notification date and the recurrence pattern system would send out the notifications for every record. 
  • Notify Until option would be helpful to configure how many times the notification has to repeat. 
  • Any notifications configured would be triggered for only the records created after the notification is configured.

Impacts on existing forms: No

DAP-4804 - Extend the feature of having the ability to set values for Single & Multi Selection Controls

Existing System: User currently will be able to apply "Set Value" feature only to Basic controls. 

Purpose: Provide flexibility to user to auto-populate single, multi-select controls based on action conditions. 

Enhanced System: Changes include:

  • Now, all single-select and multi-select controls would be available to be selected for "Set Action" while configuring actions.
  • Single-Select Controls include: Dropdown, Single Auto-Complete, Tree View. 
  • Multi-Select Controls include: Multi Auto Complete, Multiple Choice and Segmented Control. 

Impacts on existing forms: No impact. 

Available in Mobile: Yes, supported in mobile.

DAP-4599 - Ability to configure "Read-Only" Documents Management App 

Existing System: We currently don't have this feature.  

Purpose: Provide the option to search and view final documents on mobile. 

Enhanced System: User would be able to:

  • Configure Document Management app using the Template based app option.
  • Step 1: User needs to click "App Studio" to create a new app. 
  • Step 2: Select the form settings - Template-based toggle as "Yes" 
  • Step 3: Select the "Document management" as the "Read-Only Template". 
  • Step 4: Save the form and user should see the documents in view only mode by location. 
  • The documents can be viewed in all the platforms (Web, iOS and Andriod) 

Impacts on existing forms: No impact. 

Available in Mobile: Yes, supported in mobile. 

Step 1: Select the form as "Template Based" and select "Document Management" as the read-only template.

DAP-3979 - Ability to apply sorting on any column in manage data sources screen

Existing System: We currently have sorting available only on the first column. 

Purpose: Provide flexibility to user to apply sorting on any column.  

Enhanced System: User would be able to:

  • Apply sorting either ascending or descending for any column configured in the data source.
  • User has to click the "Field Settings" button to access this option.  

Impacts on existing forms: No. 

Available in Mobile: NA.

DAP-4803 - Refactor Actions, Access and Set Actions

Existing System: We don't have a sequence of execution of actions. 

Purpose: To be consistent in the way the action conditions execute across platforms (Web, iOS and Andriod). 

Enhanced System: User would be able to:

  • See an additional option to sequence actions. 
  • User can drag and drop the actions to sequence it the way they are supposed to execute. 

Impacts on existing forms: No impact. 

Available in Mobile: NA.

DAP-3886 - Changes to app widget with options "Modify", "List" and "New"

Existing System: Currently, on click of any app, user is redirected to the list screen. 

Purpose: Improve the ease of use of apps. 

Enhanced System: Changes include:  

  • Option to navigate to List, Create New and Modify App screens directly from the widget.
  • These options will show up based on the user's permission for a particular app.

Impacts on existing forms: No impact. 

Available in Mobile: NA.

DAP-4898 - Integrate - JSRA Data Source to App Builder

Existing System: Currently, we don't have a system data source to pull Risk Assessment records.  

Purpose: Ability to pull and associate risk assessment records to any app. 

Enhanced System: Change include:

  • Show "RiskAssessments" data source in the data sources list.
  • User can now configure this to any app by mapping to either a single, multi-select control. 
  • Columns include: 
    1. AssessmentId
    2. AssessmentTitle
    3. AssessmentDate
    4. Description
    5. AssessmentType
    6. WorkArea
    7. Department
    8. ApprovalStatus
    9. AssessmentStatus 

Impacts on existing forms: No impact

Available in Mobile: Yes

DAP-4802 - Integrate Contractor Data Source in App Builder

Existing System: Currently, we don't have a system data source to pull list of contractors.  

Purpose: To provide flexibility to configure contractors to any app. 

Enhanced System: User would be able to:

  • See "Contractors" as a data source in the data source list.
  • User can now configure this to any app and select the contractors for a record. 
  • Columns include
    1. ContractorBusinessName
    2. ParentContractorBusinessName
    3. Classification
    4. License
    5. Phone
    6. Email
    7. QualificationStatus
    8. ResponsiblePerson
    9. ResponsiblePersonEmail 

Impacts on existing forms: No impact

Available in Mobile: Yes

 Usability improvements on Andriod App

Existing System: Currently, there are few usability gaps on iOS and Andriod platforms.  

Purpose: To improve usability

Enhanced System: 

Card View with Record Count: 

  • Now the card view of the home page would display also the count of records which are available on mobile device.
  • It also shows the count of records that are yet to sync.  

List Screen: 

  • List screen will now support a two-column display. 
  • It would display the count of open and overdue action items.
  • There would be an icon to identify if there any attachments to that record. 
  • Even users can know that whether a record is synced or not with the help of a sync icon. 

Summary Page: 

  • Support for Summary page configured in the summary builder. 
  • User would be able to print reports, duplicate a record and also can see a preview of the documents from summary screen. 


Impacts to Existing Forms: NA. 

Available in Mobile: Yes.

DAP-4627 - Mobile Support for Enhance custom report to consider actions and include Action Items, Repeater sections

Existing System: Currently, this is available only in web. 

Purpose: Ability to support conditional printing of the custom reports.

Enhanced System: User would be able to:

  • Ability to print only the fields which are shown in the form.
  • User has to check the option "Don't print hidden fields".
  • Ability to configure and print repeaters/action items/Related data and attachments in the custom report template
  • Note: This option is now an online-only feature. User can't access this feature when offline. 

Impacts on existing reports:  No impact, the option would default to "No". User can turn on if required.  

Available in Mobile: Yes.
