System did not provide the ability to define the hours that was allotted by the instructor for trainings.

Enhanced State :

New field of Total Manpower Hours (Instructors) has been introduced.

This field will display the total hours that has been allotted for the training purpose by the instructors.

PMP-45599 Provision of Course category at Location Set Up in addition to Module Set Up

Previous State : System did not provide the ability to create course categories for locations.All courses categories were created from module set up and hence the course categories were common across all locations.

Enhanced State : Provision to add course categories for individual locations has been enabled.

If the user creates any course category at a location then the same will be displayed under the course category field in the course creation page.

PMP-45564 Provision of ability to add instructor from sessions page.

Configuration : None

Default : Not applicable

Previous State :

• System did not provide the ability to directly add instructors from the sessions creation page.
• Users were directly required to add the instructors from the instructor set up screen.

Enhanced State :

• New button of Add has been introduced in the instructor picklist in the session creation page.
• If the user has permissions then the user can click on this add button to add a new  instructor to the session .
• Any instructor added to the session would be added as a new instructor for future usage in the location.
• Additionally ,the field of instructor salutation has been made editable for better usability 

PMP-38926 As a system administrator I want to set up the fields that are to be included in certificate of completion

Default : Hide

Previous State :

• System did not provide the flexibility to the user to define the fields that should be available in the certificate of completion .

Enhanced State :

• Configuration settings have been provided for show hide of certain fields in the certificate of completion.
• Field of department,Job Function,Instructor has been made configurable for show hide
• Provision to display score  has been introduced in the certificate

PMP-45228 Provision to display employee Activation date as a column filter in employee picklist

Configuration : Configurable for Show Hide

Default :Hide.

Previous State :

• System did not have the information of employee activation date in the employee picklist.

Enhanced State :

• New column of employee activation has been introduced in the employee picklist.
• This column would display the date on which the user to which the employee is associated was activated,

PMP-45105 Provision of making the Learning courses independent of course location

Previous State :

• In the course picklist there were two views :
  • Courses -All Locations
  • Courses-Selected Locations.

Enhanced State :

• In the course picklist there will be only one view 
• This view will display all the courses of the location.

PMP-45065 Improvement of usability of the employee picklist in LMS module

Configuration : None

Previous State :

• There were three tabs in the session creation employee picklist .

Enhanced State :

• To improve the usability the number of tabs has been reduced to two .
• The tabs have been renamed as Add Employees and Remove Employees.
• If an employee is added for a session then it would be visible in the remove employee tab once the user opens back the picklist.
• If an employee is not added to the session then it would be visible in the Add employee tab once the user opens the picklist.
• The user can remove the employees from the employee picklist by deleting them in the remove employee tab
• To add an employee the user would have to open the picklist and select the employee which is to be added.

Removing  Employees :

• To remove employees users are required to click on the remove employee tab and delete the employee which needs to be removed.

PMP-45019 Provision to inactive the Employee course Status for inactivated employees

Previous State :

• System did not provide the flexibility to auto inactivate the employee course state ofr any employee which was inactivated.

Enhanced State :

• In the enhanced State ,once the employee is inactivated the employee course status would also be inactivated.

PMP-46641 Provision of ability to define training expiry on training completion date or Training End Date.

Configuration : Configurable for Training Expiry to be based on Training Start Date,End Date and Completion Date.

Default : Training End Date

Previous State :

• The Training expiry date was dependent on the training end date.

Enhanced State :

Training expiry date can be made dependent on either the training end date or training completion date or training start date

• If the configuration is placed on the training start date then the expiry would be calculated based on the training start date and the retraining cycle.( Training Expiry Date = Training end date+retraining Cycle)
• If the configuration is placed on the  training end  date then the expiry would be calculated based on the training end date and the retraining cycle.( Training Expiry Date = Training end  date+retraining Cycle)
• If the configuration is placed on the  training completion  date then the expiry would be calculated based on the training compeletion date and the retraining cycle.( Training Expiry Date = Training completion date+retraining Cycle)
