Existing System: 

• Currently, widget framework is designed to support only filters related to time period.  

Purpose:

• To provide more flexibility to configure multiple data filters for a widget. 

Enhanced System:

In the enhanced system, 

• User will be able to apply additional data filters apart from time period filter.

• User will be able to apply data filter with single selection as well as multi selection.

• User will be able to apply multiple data filters.

• Framework would support cascading data filters.

• Sorting and Multi-data filters would be saved for that layout view. If user adds the widget to any other view, then widget loads data with default filters and sorting criteria.
