DAP-5407 - Grouping/Categorization of apps
Existing System: Currently, there is no support for the categorization of apps on home page.
Purpose: To improve the usability.
Enhanced System: The user would be able to:
- Add categories and assign it to the apps.
- Assigning a category to an app can be done from either "Edit Layout" screen or by from "Form Properties" tab.
- One app can be part of multiple categories.
- User would be able to see the apps by their categories on the home page.
- User can filter and sort the categories so that the apps appear as per his preference.
- "Recent" category is a system-defined category that always shows the apps based on the recent activity of the user.
- If an app is not categorized, then it would appear under "Uncategorized" system-defined category until the app is assigned a category.
Impacts on existing forms: No
Available in Mobile: No, only supported in web.
DAP-5405 - Data count display for every app on home for admin users
Existing System: Currently, the user can see the data count only from the list screen.
Purpose: Provide app usage information statistics to users without having to navigate to list screens.
Enhanced System:
- Administrators of the system would be able to turn on the toggle "Show data counts" option from the "Edit Layout".
- Once the toggle is on, users will be able to see the data count against each app in the home page.
- This count is the total number of records user can access for a given app.
- There is no date range filter applied (It shows the data count since the app is published)
Impacts on existing forms: No impact.

DAP-3499 - Enhance Actions - To support the ability to perform scheduled actions
Existing System: We currently support immediate set actions while user is editing the record in details screen.
Purpose: Scheduled-based execution of set actions.
Enhanced System: The user would be able to:
- Choose what is the action type - Immediate or Scheduled.
- If it's scheduled, user would be able to configure when (Date/Time) a particular action should be executed.
- On that day/ hour, system would check the condition and execute the set action if it is satisfied.
- Once the job is executed, it would only re-execute only if the user modifies the same record.
Impacts on existing forms: No impact
Available in Mobile: Yes, supported in both iOS and Android
DAP-5841 - Support "Read-Only" apps in related data control
Existing System: We currently can link all other apps except the Read-Only apps.
Purpose: To provide flexibility to link read-only apps records into other app records.
Enhanced System: The user would be able to:
- Select a "Read-Only" app in the "Form to Link" field of the related data control.
- Search and select the data into another app record.
- Click and view the Read-Only app record.
Impacts on existing forms: No
Available in Mobile: Yes.
DAP-5075 - Ability to search and access SDS Chemicals on mobile by a "Read-Only App"
Existing System: We don't have a Read-Only app for Chemical
Purpose: To be able to access chemical records in mobile using apps.
Enhanced System: The user would be able to:
- Create a new app - Chemical Management from the template with a 3-Step process.
- Step 1: User has to navigate to App Studio→ Form Properties→ Template Based property =Yes and select "Chemical Management" from the templates dropdown.
- Step 2: All the Sections/ Fields of the app would auto-appear and hit save to complete the form configuration.
- Step 3: Once the form is saved, user would be able to configure the required fields in the List & Summary builder.
- Once above steps are completed, user would be able to access the chemical SDS library in mobile.

DAP-5816 - Redesign "Share" UI for better usability
Existing System: Currently, we
Purpose: To provide more flexibility for filters and to ensure auto-populations are flawless
Enhanced System: Changes include:
- Option to select a data type for a column - this will be available only before saving the data source.
- No option to change the data type once the data source, with the newly added column, is saved.
- Supported data types - String, Date, Integer, Decimal, and Boolean.
- Once a particular data type is selected, values entered will be validated against that data type. For example: Data Type = Date, only Date values can be entered for that column.
- Based on this data type, now the user would be able to auto-populate values to date fields, toggles, and numeric controls.
- Also, the user can filter data sources effectively as we can see more options based on the data type.

DAP-4598 - Ability to redirect to Mobile Pro app when a user opens the notification live link on a mobile device
Existing System: Currently, the notification link opens up a browser instead of the MobilePro app.
Purpose: To improve usability and take the user to the respective record
Enhanced System: The user would be able to:
- Navigate to the respective record when clicking on the notification link.
- In online mode, the app would download the record and then redirect the user to the record summary.
- In offline mode, if the record is already available on the device, then the user would be redirected. Otherwise, the app would show a "No records found" error.
