Existing System

  • Currently, when a Plan is created, user needs to associate the Job Function and employees who would be part of the Plan. When a user opts for a Training Plan as the course type while creating a session, the additional details related to Job Function and the associated employees are not automatically filled in.

Purpose: To streamline the process of creating Plans by automating the association of Job Function and associated employees enhancing user efficiency and reducing manual data entry errors.

Enhanced System: 

  • While some of the users wish to manually enter the details of Job Function and employees according to their need, we have other users who would like to have the associated details of the Training Plan. to be auto-updated thereby saving time in manual data entry, minimize errors and streamline the overall workflow.

  • Currently, the LMS Module doesn't have the ability to send notifications to supervisors on overdue trainings for its employees. Not sending out the notifications has its disadvantages like employees may overlook training deadlines, leads to lack of accountability and impacts learning continuity. 

Purpose:  To enhance accountability and ensure compliance with training requirements.

Enhanced System: 

  • Implementing overdue notifications in an LMS can mitigate these disadvantages by promoting timely completion of training activities, enhancing accountability, and supporting organizations in meeting compliance requirements and strategic objectives.

  • Currently, when a user creates a training record and assigns an employee, the assigned employee receives a session email notification. However, when the assigned employee clicks on the course notification link from the email, the link redirects the user to the document list, but with the location of the person who created the session.

Purpose: To accurately present the scope of the employee when accessing the documents page via a notification link.

Enhanced System:

  • The notification hyperlink will redirect the employee to his/her own location instead of showing the location of course/user who created the session.
