Users will be able to create a new IH sample.
Business Rules
- Sample details should have been created and saved.
- Depending on the specific Company business rules, the selection of certain fields may or may not be mandatory.
Step-by-step Instructions:
- Click on the Modules icon.
- Click on the Industrial Hygiene menu item.
- Click on the Manage Sample menu item.
- Click on the IH Log Number hyperlink.
- In Sample Equipment field, Click on the Add button.
- In Calibration Equipment ID field and select Noise Calibrator from the pick list.
- Complete all the fields and Click on the Save button.
Noise & Calibration Equipment Details
Feild Details/Description Monitoring Equipment Owned By This field will default to the current location and picklist of Equipment details is only associated with Default Location
i. Corporate – This is equipment managed by the Corporate Team
ii. Borrowed from Other Site – This is equipment shared from other location (user must know what location to select appropriate equipment)
iii. Contractor – No equipment details are required based on this selectionNoise Equipment Picklist Each individual location has the abilty to manage their inventory of equipment. If upon clicking the picklist it is blank then no equipment has been set up for the location. Follow the Help Guide of “How to Set Up / Update IH Monitoring Equipment” to set up equipment. Calibration Equipment Calibration equipment can also be set up at the Equipment Level. Users can also schedule reminders when a Factory Calibration is required. This is based on the field “ Factory / Traceable Calibration Valid Until”. Follow the Help Guide of “How to Set Up / Update IH Monitoring Equipment” to create Alerts & Reminders on Calibration

Noise Equipment Settings
Fields Description Criterion First Field Required in the System. Threshold First Field Required in the System. Doubling This is the most important selection option for Noise. Formulas for calculating results are driven off of the Doubling. Key Fields for Sample Activity Details
Field Detail/Description Period of Sample Start Time / End Time This is the department/area that is being sampled. This field is managed in the Location Profile.
