Validation rules displayed on the Enter data screen under the “General” tab allow administrators to set thresholds on reported data, which when exceeded, will exhibit a certain behavior such as changing color and forcing an explanation to be entered in the comments field. 

Step-by-step guide

  1. Click on the Modules Icon.
  2. Click on the Performance Management Menu Item.
  3. Click on the Enter Data Menu Item.

 


4. Validation rules are indicated with a yellow caution icon and the difference from the comparison value is displayed in the Difference column.  If the difference is outside of the threshold values a red flag may appear in the Comments field indicating a comment needs to be added.
