The security of our ProcessMAP platform is important to us. This letter explains steps we have recently taken to help ensure that our platform remains secure. We want to stress that there has not been any information security exploitation of our platform.
As you may be aware, there is an identified vulnerability affecting certain versions of the Apache Log4j software. Log4j software is a software library used by many companies to log security and performance information. Our ProcessMAP platform uses a third-party component that includes Log4j software. We license this component from IBM as part of our Insight Reporting Tool. Out of an abundance of caution, we have temporarily turned off ProcessMAP’s Insight Reporting Tool in light of potential vulnerability.
Disabling Insight Reporting Tool may impact you in the following ways:
● Users of your organization will not be able to access Insight reports and dashboards; and
● All Insight report subscriptions will be temporarily stopped.
However, please note that during this interim time while the Insight Reporting Tool is disabled, you can still access and report on your data by using our Report Central tool. Reporting through our Report Central tool may be limited in some ways.
We realize the lack of access to the Insight Reporting Tool may create some inconvenience. We are working with IBM to provide us with guidance and a security patch. Until we enable the Insight Reporting Tool, we are mobilizing our team to work around-the-clock to provide you with support as needed on data extraction and analytics.
