The Event Management module allows users to create records for six different event types. The following is a list of the event types available within the Events module:
- Red Alert
- Red Alert – Late Submission
- Complaint
- Inquiry
- Agency Visit
- General EHS
The following are examples of the different event types:
- Red Alert – An accidental discharge of waste water exceeding allowable permit amounts.
- Red Alert – Late Submission – Failure to notify OSHA (US only) within 72 hours of an injury incident resulting in an amputation.
- Complaint – Notification from a neighbor they are detecting a bad odor coming from your facility.
- Inquiry – Request from a local advocacy group about your local recycling activities.
- Agency Visit – A visit from the Occupational Health and Environment to review Waste storage.
- General EHS – Other EHS events which do not belong to one of the other event types.
When creating an Event record the user needs to first identify the type of event they are reporting.
