User Story

User Story #1 : As a HSE Head, I would like to create safety training plan for my whole team, have them trained and then evaluate the outcome of their training.

User Story #2 : As Location Head /HR , I would have to make sure all new employees are given induction training.

What am I doing now ?

I would have to create documents / content of the training, send employees links to these content and manually track progress of each employee.

App Capabilities

  1. Create a Library of Courses on which employees would be trained

  2. Create Training Plan and assign plans by employee’s job role or group

  3. Integrate with a Training Content Provider to get latest courses on safety and other topics

  4. Evaluate progress of each training with couple of clicks

  5. Set Alerts and Reminders for tasks to make sure the deadlines are met.

Walkthroughs:

Completing a Training Session (External Content)

  1. Once you are homepage, you can click on the “Learning Management” module shortcut

  2. You will land on to your training session , this will have list of all the sessions which are scheduled for you.

  3. Search for the course you want to complete and then click on the “Launch” link to open it.

  4. This will open up the course in a new tab, click on the run link

  5. Course will be launched in content providers site, once the training materials are read through and exam is passed, the course shall be marked as Complete.

  6. Click on “Send Certificate” to download the certificate.

 

Updating outcome of Offline Training Session

If you choose ProcessMAP’s solution to keep track of all the sessions assigned to various employees, then you can update the outcome of each session.

  1. Click on the Module > Training Management > Manage Sessions List

  2. You will land on the list active training sessions for selected location

  3. Click on the “Update” link of the session where you need to update the outcome

  4. Update the Outcome from dropdown save the record.

  5. You can fill the score field if necessary.


Tracking current progress of training by Employee or Course

  1. Click on Modules > Training Management > Training Progress Summary

  2. This screens lets you track training progress by employee or course.

  3. Clicking on the number would redirect user to the list containing the matching training records.

 

Creating Courses

  1. Click on Modules > Training Management > Course Catalog

2. Click on “New” button and fill out the form and save it.

 

Creating Training Sessions for Employees manually

  1. Click on Modules > Training Management > Manage Sessions List. Make sure you are at a location where employee(s) are currently employed.

  2. Fill out course, participants, dates etc. and save it.

3. This will create session(s) for employee, whose outcome can be later updated on completion.
