Track closure of findings with respect to finding significance level – PMP-11226

The application has been enhanced to provide the ability to define the significance level of audit findings.

Previous State:

  • The system provided the ability to categorize the audit findings based on finding type but not on finding significance level
  • Finding significance level denotes the severity of the finding .As such, categorizing the finding based on significance level can help in determining the measures for the findings as well as their closure due dates
For example : Finding with higher significance level can be set for closure on a nearer date with respect to the finding reported date as compared to a finding with lower significance level

Enhanced State:

  • Introduced the Finding Significance Level drop down in the Finding Type page in Module Setup.

  • Based on the finding significance level defined in the finding type ,once the user selects the finding type in the finding creation page, the finding significance level will be auto populated.
  • Finding significance level can also be changed in the finding creation page, even though it is an auto populated field.
  • Users can pull the list of findings based on the finding significance levels.
