PMP-95608 - As an end user, I would like to export language tags to update the translation by using the import

Existing System

  • There is no option to export tags in a template, which can be used for import later

Purpose: 

  • Users can export tags based on different conditions
  • Users can export tags based on different languages
  • Use the exported template for language updates in bulk

Enhanced System:

  • Enhanced static tag management with multiple features
  • Users can filter tags with different conditions as below
    • Based on empty tags by single or multiple languages
    • Based on the module and screens
    • Other conditions applied to a string field 
  • Default columns and their usage
    • UID - Unique ID for each tag, shouldn't be changed. If changed the tag update won't happen perfectly. 
    • Field - The English tag with read-only mode for reference 
    • Language columns
      • Add language columns are based on the language enabled for the customer
  • Steps to Export
    • Go to the default view or create your view based on the language required
    • e.g. Default View
      • Click on the Edit View
      • Apply Filter As Required
        • If langue is Empty
      • Select the language in the column selection to export
      • Click on View Result
      •  Click on the Export

PMP-96717 - As an end user, I would like to import language tags to update the translation in bulk

Configurable: No

Existing System

  • There is no option to import static tags 

Purpose: 

  • To update static tags in bulk
  • To update multiple tags in bulk

Enhanced System:

  • Option to import tags in bulk
  • Option to view the mapped information and make changes to the tag if required
  • Immediate update of the tags to the system
  • Steps to Import
    • Download the missing language file from the application
    • Update the required languages in the template downloaded from the application
    • Don't remove or change the UID column from the import file
    • The column field is used to know the language in English, so don't change the field column value
    • Users can update the English and other required languages
    • Once the template is ready to import and the number of tags is more than 1000, split the file into multiple files with less than 1000 tags.
    • Click on the Import Tags button
    • Click on the Browser button to select the file
    • Click on the Import From File to proceed.
    • Review the data, and if required change the translation from the data mapping and validation screen.
    • Click on the Import Data button to import the translated tags to the application. 
  • History
    • Users can view the import results in the history feature
    • Click on the History button to view the history with file name, total record, updated record counts, failed Record count, processing status, imported date, and imported by

PMP-95607 - As an end user, I would like to update multiple languages of a tag in a row

Configurable: Yes

  • Title: NA
  • Public/Private: NA
  • Default: Show

Existing System

  • There is no option to update multiple languages in a row
  • As each tag displays in a single row, the records are more in the list screen

Purpose: 

  • Provide the option to display multiple languages in a row.
  • Allow to update the languages from the list screen

Enhanced System:

  • Display languages in a row
  • Update the language changes in the list screen.
