Copy a Chemical and Archive the Original

Step-by-step instruction:

  1. Click on  the Modules icon.
  2. Click on the Chemical Management menu item.
  3. Click on  the Manage Chemicals menu item.

     

  4. Select the Chemical Name by checking the check box and click on the Copy button.
  5. Click on the OK button.



  6. Select all the components except the SDS file and click on the Save button.

     

  7. The copied chemicals record has a 'Copy of' icon next to it.



  8. Click on the original chemical record Chemical Name link.



  9. In Usage Information section, change the Chemical Status to Archive.
  10. Select the radio button at Archive at selected Location.
  11. Click on the Update button.
