PMP-79398 Action Item Due Date and Completion Date validation
Configurable: Yes
Using Action Item Configuration Framework Minimum Date and Maximum Date Values
- Title: NA
- Public/Private: NA
- Default: NA
Existing System:
- No configuration to set minimum and maximum date validation by field
Purpose:
- To provide standard validation by module and fields
Enhanced System:
- Added minimum and maximum field value validation to the configuration model.
- The validations can be set to a number of days or a dependent field or a date.
e.g.
i) Due date must not be less than created date.
Minimum Configuration value "@CreatedDate"
ii) Action Item Completion Date must not be less than the current date.
Minimum Configuration value "@CurrentDate"
iii) Requested Extended Due Date must not be greater than 120days.
Maximum Configuration value "@CreatedDate+120"
Impacts: Mobile
Note: Any module-specific validation will overwrite the action item configuration model validation.
e.g.
IMS
i) Due date minimum value validation has been set with created date in the configuration model.
ii) But IMS has a business rule, Action Item Due Date should not be less than Incident Date. In this case, if the Incident Date is less than the action item created, it will allow selecting a due date less the action item created date.
