Basic App Building/ Modifying

Creating a new App
To create a new App, navigate to the Apps home page and click on the App Studio button
Adding an icon to an App
1. To add or change an icon of an App navigate to the Apps home page, search for the App, and click on “Modify”

2. Click on the “Edit” button inside the icon symbol in the top left corner.
Adding Sections to the App
1. To add a section to an App, navigate to the Apps home page, search for the App, and click on “Modify”

2.Click on the “Section” or drag and drop the “Section” into the App
Inserting fields into a Section.
1.To insert a field into an App, navigate to the Apps home page, search for the App, and click on “Modify”

2.Click on the field or drag and drop the field into the section

Field and Section Properties

Field Properties: Field properties allow to make configurational changes to a field, each type of field will have a different set of properties based on the use case of the field. To access field properties, open the App “Modify” and click on the field the properties will be visible on the right side of the screen

Label - Name of the field
Sub label - Description of the field
Required - Determines if a field is mandatory
Visible - Determines if a field is visible to the end-user or not
Enabled - Determines if a field is editable by the end-user or not
Format - Determines the input format (applicable to Textbox and Numeric fields)
Default Value – Allow to set a default value to the field
Guide Notes – Allows to add notes in text format or a URL to the field as a reference
Max Character Count – Determines the maximum number of characters allowed (applicable to Textbox and Text Area fields)
Maximum Value – Determines the maximum value allowed (applicable to Date and Numeric fields)

Minimum Value - Determines the minimum value allowed (applicable to Date and Numeric fields)

Section Properties::Section properties allow to make configurational changes to a section. To access section properties, open App “Modify” and click on the section the properties will be visible on the right side of the screen

Guide Notes – Allows to add notes in text format or a URL to the field as a reference
Visible - Determines if a section is visible to the end user or not
Collapsible - Determines if a section is collapsible or not
Collapsed – Allow to collapse a section by default
