Existing System:

• System allows to add entries to the "Work Area" list which is designed to be an enterprise list and only editable by System Admins.
• There are two ways this can be done. One, while creating a new sample /QRA/Sample Plan Record, a user can choose the "Pick List" option for Work Area and the "Add" button is available to them.
• Second, they can achieve this same result when editing or added a new SEG if they are Location Admins.

Purpose :

• Along with admin users ,other users without admin rights were also able to add workarea to the system through new Sample /QRA/Sample Plan Record

No permission for Work Area , allowed user to add workarea without admin rights 

Enhanced  System:

• New permission for IH Module in Role list to be added for Workarea Picklist in Sample Details ,QRA details and Sample Plan Record Details 
• Based on the permission When users select Pick List next to "Work Area / Function" the Add button would appear or hide
• Existing Data : No change

 PMP-61673 Enable change of Diagnostic sample to planned sample with Sample Plan Rcord Selection

Existing System: 

• To avoid human errors ,changing on Sample selection from diagnostic to baseline was restricted ,once he creates diagnostic sample or imports samples to the system

Purpose : 

• User were not able to convert the diagnostic to planned sample if the bulk import it to the system .As only diagnostic samples get bulk imported

Enhanced System :

• System allows to change the diagnostic to baseline.
• It also allows to select the sample plan record in sample details .
• Once sample status changes to "sent to lab" or "result recieved" ,it will not be editable further .

• Existing Data : No data correction to existing data as customer might lose existing information stored
• Impacts : No
• Reports : No
• Notification : No

 PMP-58444 Set Alignment to Exposure Results for Chemical Samples

Existing System: 

• User can enter separate unit of measure for sample result and exposure results

Purpose : 

• Resulted in human errors and incorrect sample result calculation to identify the hazard category

System allowed to enter different units for sample result ,exposure result ,OEL

Enhanced  System:

• The Exposure Result unit is aligned with the Sample Result Unit of Measure.
• If sample result unit is ug/m3, then exposure result will be also have same unit of measure.
• Ex : Exposure Result is by default showing the unit as MG/M3 .If Sample result is 15 and its unit is ug/m3 ,Exposure results still shows the units as MG.M3 .This exposure result unit should  be aligned with Sample result unit
• After saving exposure result unit will be same as sample result unit ,it will not consider incase user enters a different unit for exposure result

• Existing Data : No data correction to existing data as customer might lose existing information stored
• Impacts : No
• Reports : No
• Notification : No

Sample Result : exposure result unit and OEL  units are aligned with sample result unit

 PMP-58443  Customer specific Employee Notification changes to eliminate unit conversion calculation

• Results units if entered as MG/M3 in Sample result , it gets converted to UG/M3
• This is obtained by dividing the MG/M3 results by 1000, and update the unit to UG/M3
• Applicable to employee notification letter only

Units were converted to UG/M3

Purpose : Natural unit of measure in sample result page to be pushed to the employee notification letter 

Enhanced  System:

• No conversion of units is applied ,earlier implemented is eliminated
• Natural unit of measure is pushed

Units entered in sample results are pushed to the notification letter

 PMP-57337 Customer specific new Import Utility for Chemical and Noise sample

Existing system :

• Individual samples for chemicals and personal noise are created through application interface  and bulk samples for chemicals and personal noise were created through import

Purpose:

• Customer would require to have an interface to import individual chemical and noise samples to the system through a specific format and with specific set of fields

Enhanced System:

• New importer tool for chemical and personal noise  implemented in Sample Import Utilities section 
• Similar to other import utilities ,user would need to download the teamplate and upload after he fill the information 
• The template is in excel format and has 2 sheets .
• Sheet 1 - Chemical / Noise Sample Importer tool (fields to enter information)  , Sheet 2 - Field specs
