Conditions and Actions are rules configured in an App that determine how certain section and fields in an App work when data is entered into the App. Conditions and Actions can be used to create conditional logic, input validation, calculate scores, set values etc.

There are two types of Conditions and Actions immediate and scheduled. Immediate actions are executed when the data is entered into the App or after saving the record. Scheduled actions are executed at the specific data or time configured in the action.

Instructions

  1. Click on Apps.

     

  2. Click on modify.

     

  3. Click on App Settings.

     

  4. Click on Actions 

  5. Click on Add.

     

  6. Select the action type

  7. Select the Conditions

  8. Select the Actions

  9. Click on Save.

     

 

Different types of fields will have different sets of operators for conditions and actions.

List of operators for conditions:

  • Empty

  • Not Empty

  • Equals

  • Not Equals

  • Contains

  • Does not contain

  • Greater Than

  • Less Than

  • Greater Than or Equal

  • Less Than or Equal

List of operators for Actions:

  • Hide

  • Show

  • Enable

  • Disable

  • Require

  • Optional

  • Set

Scheduled Action

  1. Select the Action Type as Scheduled.

  2. Enter the Schedule condition.

  3. Enter the condition

  4. Enter Action.

  5. Click on Save
