New and Improved Features




 Single Page Task Action Item screen - PMP-2757

The application has been enhanced by integrating Task Action items to the common action item framework to support additional features. When a task is enabled and pushed to the calendar, the following changes have been applied to the Task Action Item screen:

  • Removed tabs, and introduced sections

  • Added two new sections to the Task Action Item screen:
    • Review/Verify
    • Cost information

 

  • Added Extend Due Date and Verification Process features
  • Removed Occurrences in Task Management action items to keep it aligned with the common action items

 Provide similar permission to Task Action Item as per Common Action Item - PMP-3755

The application has been enhanced to introduce a new standard action item permission for Task Action Items. 

Following are the new permissions that are added under the new section "Task Action Item Management":

  • Edit Action Items
  • Delete Action Items
  • View Action Items
  • Change Action Item Status
  • Extend Due Date
  • Verify
  • Cost

  Add "Verification Required" field to create new task in Task Management and Action Item Library - PMP- 40667

The application has been enhanced by adding "Verification Required” field in the Task Detail screen of the Action Item Library and Task Management. 


Business Rules for Required Verification field

  • Once the task is enabled and action item is created, the "Verification Required" field will be checked by default, and the user will not be allowed to uncheck it.
  • The "Verify User" field will only contain users with verify action item permissions.
  • For enabled tasks, if the user makes changes in the task from Task Management (ie: check/uncheck "Verification Required") then it will be reflected in the Action item associated with it.

  • "Verify User" field will be non-mandatory for Task Action Item. Once the task is enabled and action items are created, user can go and select "verify user" for that particular action item.

  Action Item Integration with TMS - PMP-37066

An Action Item Integration has been introduced for allowing users to send Incident Management action items to a work order tracking system (TMS = Ticket Management System). Integrations with third party work order tracking system will require custom configurations.

Once an action item is saved, the following fields will be visible in the source section of the action item:

  • TMS Enabled Department
  • TMS Work Order Number

Business Rules for Designated/Non-designated TMS Enabled Department

  1. Departments can be enabled to work with a work order system.
  2. If the Department selected is a TMS Enabled Department, the following actions will occur:
    1. A read only field called “TMS Enabled Department” will be added, we will show the user this is an Enabled Department Field by showing “Yes” in the field value.
    2. Below that field we will display a second field called “TMS Work Order Number” (only when it is a TMS Enabled Department field).  This will be a read only field because this number will come back from the TMS system in a return file by feed.
    3. The Closure Details for the CAPA and the CAPA will be updated and closed via the Feed
    4. For a department that is considered TMS Enabled, upon saving, we will make the “Responsible Department” field read only since this is necessary for the Feed.
  3. If the Responsible Department field selected is not a TMS Enabled Department, the following will occur:
    1. “TMS Enabled Department” will display No as a value.
    2. The “TMS Work Order Number” field will not be displayed, because the action item will not be sent via feed.
    3. The “Responsible Department” field will be editable.

Remove the dependency of "Others" on "Self" and "Owned" permission for Common Action Item - PMP-39983

The application has been enhanced to remove the dependency of Self, Owned and Others permission for Common Action Item.

The application has been enhanced to include the following two Columns to the Task Management Bulk Upload Template:

  • Action Item Priority
  • Reference/Citation

 My Action Items Widget - Show counts and make it clickable - PMP-8632

The application has been enhanced to make the counts in My Action Item widget clickable, and show the list in “Manage Action Item” List screen

This widget have counts of the below types:

  1. Open Action Items - Assigned
    • Action Items for which the logged in user is owner and the status is "Open"

  2. Overdue Action Items - Assigned.
    • Action Items for which the logged in user is owner and the status is "Overdue"

  3. To be verified action items.
    • Action Items for which the logged in user is "Verify User" and pending verification






Deprecated Features

Occurrences In Task Management Action Item: 

To make Task Management Action Item in sync with Common action item, the framework has been changed and this feature was not in sync with that so it has been removed.
