New and Improved Features

• Unbundle Location setup permissions - PMP-1485.
• Implement new password reset process - Instead of deactivating user, send reset password link - PMP-40198.
• User would like to see Mobile Access codes as a widget ob the home page - PMP-39749.
• As a system admin i would want the flexibility of applying personnel data privacy for applicable locations - Location setup changes - PMP-40085.
• User would like to add an additional attribute to department as "TMS Enabled" - PMP-37189.
• Force user to select a filter in Employee picklist - PMP-35388.

Unbundle Location setup permissions - PMP-1485

In the enhanced state, we have unbundled all the permissions so that it is flexible for the user to have a separate permission for any of the menus under location setup.

Implement new password reset process - Instead of deactivating user, send reset password link - PMP-40198

In the enhanced application, a new Password Reset process has been incorporated. 

Once the password expired after stipulated time period and user is trying to attempt to login to system, then

• An alert is shown saying "Your password has expired. Pls. reset your password using the link sent to your registered mail Id."
• A notification mail is triggered immediately with reset password link.
• Once user clicks on the link, he is redirected to reset password screen where he will have option to enter a new password.
• Once he clicks save, user will be able to login to system with his changed password.
  
  
  

Unsuccessful Login Attempts:

When the user has exceeded the maximum number of unsuccessful login attempts, then

• An alert is shown saying "You have exceeded maximum number of unsuccessful login attempts. A reset password link is sent to your registered mail Id."
• It will not inactivate user but his password will be removed/expired.
• A notification mail is triggered immediately with reset password link.
• Once user clicks on the link, he will be redirected to reset password screen where he will have an option to enter a new password.
• Once he clicks save, user will be able to login to system with his changed password.

User would like to see Mobile Access Codes as a widget on the  home page - PMP-39749

In the enhanced state, we have displayed the mobile access codes on the home page of every user along with the help document. This will help users to have complete information about mobile app so that any user can try using mobile app without external assistance required.

As a system admin I would want the flexibility of applying personnel data privacy for applicable locations - Location setup changes - PMP-40085

In the enhanced state, a field "Apply Personnel Data Privacy" is added in Location Profile screen under "Location Regulatory & Agency Information" Section with Yes/No Radio button. This field will be dependent on Location Country. It will not be visible if Country value is selected as "United States".

User would like to add an additional attribute to department as "TMS Enabled" - PMP-37189

In the enhanced application, new field "TMS Enabled" is added to the organization components screen and this new field will be shown only when type is "Department".

Force user to select a filter in Employee Picklist - PMP-35388

In the enhanced application,

• Filter would open up by default, once user clicks on "Search Employee" tab.
• No data will be loaded in the list screen (In the background)

• Once the user applies the required filter and click "Go", the list screen will open up with the list of records.

User would like to see languages as multilingual in language preference screen - PMP-38610

In the enhanced application, user will be able to see the name in English along with the multilingual translation separated by a 'hyphen'.

User would like to have the User Name field length to be increased to 255 from 50 - PMP-37190.

In the enhanced application, this length is increased to 255 characters in web as well as in all HRMS feeds.

Separate Location Code and Location Name in the Location List of Enterprise Setup/Location Setup - PMP-40508.

In the enhanced application, Location code and Location name would appear as two different columns in the list screen.

Deprecate quick links tool tip for both shells - PMP-40093.

Previous State:

In the current state, quick link tool tip doesn’t have descriptions available. So, we are showing the same label even in the tool tip which is not adding any value.

Enhanced State:

In the enhanced state, we have deprecated the quick link tool tip as this is not adding any value.

Deprecate User-Location-Module-Role button in user list screen - PMP-40088.                                  

Previous State:

In the current state, this button has huge data which is causing performance issues. Also, there are limitations in excel where it doesn’t allow more than 65,536 (.xls); 130000 (.xlsx), number of records to be exported.


 

Enhanced State:

In the enhanced state, we have deprecated this button from users list. However, this report can be pulled from Cognos.
