PMP-65567 Template user feature in the product

Configurable: No

  • Title: NA
  • Public/Private: NA
  • Default: NA

Existing System: 

  • Does not have option to copy or refer existing user while creating a new user

Purpose: Quick user creation by using a predefined template user

Enhanced System: 

  • Option to create a template user in both Setup > Security > User and Location Setup > Administration Setup > User
  • Template user created both at Corporate and Site can be used in both setups, scope and permission will be provided as per template user scope and permission
  • Template user can be used for creating new user by selecting template user in the quick setup section of user detail screen
  • Changes to template user scope and permission will not reflect to existing users created using the template user
  • After creating a user using template user, the user's scope and permissions can be changed as required 
  • Template users can be used in user import tool
  • Template user should not display and be used anywhere in the application, except User Detail and User Import tool
  • Template user information:
    • Template user option with checkbox
    • Template User Name
    • Template User Description
    • Template User option will be locked once created
  • Quick Setup:
    • Quick setup section in user detail 
    • Select template user
    • Select scope and other options like System Permission, Administrative Permission, Module Permission and Group information to be copied
    • Scope is required to selected to copy other options
    • User detail doesn't maintain reference, using which template user the user has created

PMP-67822 Changes to Welcome and Password Email to Include Login Details, Credentials, Access Code, App Store Link, Scope and Permissions

Existing System: 

  • Sends user information and temporary password from user detail Send Mail button
  • Email doesn't have mobile and system administrator information

Purpose: Send welcome email to new user with login detail, mobile and system administrator information

Enhanced System: 

  • Welcome Email : 
    • Company logo
    • Welcome message
    • Login detail with temporary password and mobile access code information
    • Desktop and Mobile link to open application
    • If mobile app is set with access code, redirect to reset temporary password screen of mobile from email
    • System administrator information with name contact details
    • Information about user scope, permission and group 
    • Mobile app download icon and link for iOS and Android
    • Help Site Link
  • Reset or Change Password Email:
    • Company logo
    • Event information with why password change request generated and by whom

PMP-67819 Introduce Password Status Column in List to Identify User Password Status

Existing System: 

  • Doesn't option to see the password status of a user

Purpose: To know user password status, whether welcome mail sent, password reset by user, password has expired, etc. 

Enhanced System: 

  • Introduced new column password status, user can add the column to list to know user's password status
    • Password Status
      • Send Welcome Email - User created but welcome email has not sent 
      • Active Password - User having proper password to login 
      • Reset Password - User has received welcome email but not yet reset password to login
      • Expired Password - User's password has expired
  • Password status wise view provided in the list to quickly filter users based on password status 
    • Views
      • Welcome Email Not Set
      • Password Not Reset
      • Expired Password
  • User can select the view and send Welcome Email and Password Reset Email to bulk user

  • Data limit recommendation for organization import is 5,000 records due to performance issue and load on server

Purpose: Provide option to import user

Enhanced System: 

  • Import user
  • Import user using template user, if template user has selected for the user it will not consider other information provided for the user such as scope and permission
  • Using user import tool the existing user's detail, scope and permission can be updated. It will check with login name and email ID for updating existing user's information
  • Template user's can be imported to application by selecting the User Type as "Template" 
  • The data will be processed with job within 24 hours of file upload
  • Data limit recommendation for user import is 5,000 records due to performance issue and load on server

Purpose: To improve user login experience 

Enhanced System: 

  • Forgot Your Login Name: Send email to user with a link. By clicking on the email link, it will redirect to login screen and populate in the login name field
  • Forgot Your Password: Send email to user with a link. By clicking on the email link, it will redirect to change password screen
  • Toggle Password Visibility: Option show/hide password text
  • FAQ: Login-related information
  • Email Support Link with System Name: Change email support link to "Email to System Name"
  • Display Mobile App Information on Login Page: Display mobile app information, click  on the icon to display information how to download and use the app

PMP-69288 User Would Like to Export Data from List (SOA) to Google Sheet

Configurable: Yes

  • Title: Google Sheet Integration

Existing System: 

  • Allow to export to Excel

Purpose: To export list records to Google Sheet

Enhanced System: 

  • Feature to export list data to Google Sheet 
  • Authenticate Google account to which data will export
  • Display data in Google Sheet
  • Google Sheet name will be Type of List and Filter information," e.g., "Action Item - Due Date Between 'Mar 01, 2020' And 'Mar 31, 2020'
  • There is no sync mechanism between Google Sheet and application, so after export, any changes to data in application or Google Sheet will not reflect automatically

Notes: This feature will be available only in Demo and ProcessMAP Internal site. Currently in development testing phase, will be available after April 15th to Product Demo and Internal sites. It will be available for all customer in the v20.2

The customer site URL needs to configure to enable the feature. Raise CRF for IT team to add the URL

PMP-68273 Contractor Information Setup

Existing System: 

  • Contractor information management is not available 

Purpose: Option to manage Contractor Information both at Corporate and Site level 

Enhanced System: 

  • Option to add contractor from corporate and site level
  • Corporate contractor will be available for all locations, if required to exclude from few locations, can be done by removing the scope
  • Contractor information will be unique across all the locations based on Contractor Business Name, if the contractor available for other location can be added to a specific location without creating the data again
  • While creating a contractor if the contractor business name match with other location's contractor business name, it will display message "This Contractor Business Name already exists. Do you want to add to this location?"
  • Contractor Business Name will appear in Employment Detail section of employee detail screen, contractor autocomplete will display contractors as per the location selected for the employee
  • If contractor is selected for an employee, contractor information will auto-populate to contractor field of parent screen while selecting the employee using employee pick list

Note: Contractor Information is customer specific, so to make use of the feature, need to make necessary changes to the module first, Contractor field will display for Employment type Offroll and Subcontractor

 PMP-66327 When a Level Inactivate, Application Will retain User Scope and Permission for Location's Mapped Other Nodes

  • If node is inactivated, then all users' scope and permissions are lost for all  locations that are mapped to this node


Purpose: Retain user scope and permission for other node levels of a location when a mapped level gets inactivated 

Enhanced System: 

  • Do not delete users' scope and permissions for the locations where the location is mapped to multiple nodes under different enterprise structure
    Delete the user scope and permissions, if the location is mapped to only that node

 PMP-67435 SLO (Single Logout) Needed for SSO

  • Issue with single logout functionality.

Purpose:   Abandon all sessions during SLO (single logout) 

Enhanced System: 

  • Deleting all application, service provider and identity provided during session and cookies during single logout
