Notifications - Setup & Functionality.

Step-by-step Instructions:

An admin should be able to setup notifications by Personnel type.

  • For the following Events introduced Personnel type for which an admin can configure at the time of setting up the notification sets
    • Detail Report Completed
    • Incident Investigation Completed
  • Change in case Status




While setting up Notifications, End User should be able to select Supervisors as well.

  • The application has been enhanced as system gives flexibility to select supervisor and supervisors supervisor for immediate notification users pick list for following notifications
    • Claim Submitted
    • Change in claim status
    • Management Review
    • Needle Stick Injury Report
    • Amputation Incident Notification
    • Employee condition
    • DOT Reportable




When a Claim is Submitted, End User should be able to send Notifications. 

  • The application has been enhanced as system existing individual claim submission events are merged in to one single event

  • While setting up the event user can still have the flexibility to create immediate notifications sets by incident type





     


End User should be able to setup Notifications when there is a change in Claim Status.

  • The application has been enhanced to have a new notification event change in claim status
  • Following are the options available in Change in claim status notification
    • In progress
    • Reopen
    • Rejected
    • Closed






When a an Incident (Near Miss / Injury/Illness) is created with a Riddor Classification, the end user should be able to send notifications.

  • User can create immediate notifications sets by Incident Type (Injury/Illness and Near Miss) and Riddor Classification.

           


           


End User should be able to navigate to system from Notifications screen. 

  • Live link has been updated for Incident ID in notification.
  • User can directly navigate to application using Incident ID.
    • If user is not logged in, system will take the user to Log in screen.
    • If user is already logged in, System will take to Incident summary screen.


As an end user would like to send Notification to Supervisors about Investigation detail ownership. 

  • The enhanced system, will directly trigger a notification to supervisors about investigation ownership

End User would be able to see only severe Near Miss Incidents in Detail Report Completed Daily Notification. 

  • Based on the Severity question,  Daily Notification is also updated accordingly
