Existing System: 

• In current system, we do not have a default value to be selected for the indices in Qualitative Risk Assessment.

Purpose: To make use of the default value in 'Frequency Index and Exposure Index' to simplify and reduce steps while updating Associate Stressor

Enhanced System: 

• User can now make a single value as default value for the 2 fields and same value will be auto populate in the respective fields for Associate Stressor.

Existing System: 

• "Detection Limit" and 'Detection Code' fields are non mandatory

Purpose: Customer has locations all over the world and the results are inputted manually by site personnel and they “forget” to enter the “Detection Limit” and “Detection Code” thus affecting the results.

Enhanced System:

• The both fields are now made mandatory.
• The detection code will display as 'Select' by default.

 PMP-86831:Make the Direct Read & Direct Monitoring Duration type calculation Configurable

Configurable: Yes

• Title: Enable Potential Exposure
• Public/Private: Public
• Default: No

Existing System: 

In current system, the direct monitoring and direct read instruments result has a specific calculation. It considers the field value of the question “Was the employee exposed to the analytic throughout his or her entire work shift ?

• If the Direct Read & Direct Monitoring Duration type is TWA and response to the question is Yes, then Lab Amount = Sample Result. 

• If the Direct Read & Direct Monitoring Duration type is TWA and response to the question is No, then (Lab result X Shift duration )/shift Length.

• If the Duration Type is anything else apart from TWA, then the calculation is Lab Amount = Sample Result irrespective of the question's response.

Purpose: 

Enhanced System: 

• If the response for the question is yes and any duration type, then Lab Amount = Sample Result
• If the response for the question is No and any duration type , then (Lab result X Shift duration )/shift Length.

• In Current System, we have Media and Surface Area as mandatory field.

Purpose: Currently the default is the first option in the dropdown which makes it easier for the user to forget to select the right item increasing the potential for wrong data.

Enhanced System: 

• Other than Media, Surface Area, Calculated Surface Area and Comment fields, the other fields (Surface Area Measurement, Surface Type) will configurable for Mandatory / Non Mandatory.

• New fields Surface Sampled Description and Area Description will be available in the same screen and will be configurable for Show / Hide and Mandatory / Non Mandatory.

• In Current System we have the drop down values for Monitoring Equipment Owned By field are Corporate, This Site, Borrowed from other Site and Contractor.

Purpose: To rename the equipment owner and broaden the ownership to Consultants and Rental.

• We have now renamed the value of Contractor to Contractor / Consultant / Rental.
