PMP-47055 Invalidate samples without result

Default : Invalidate samples without result

Existing System:

User was not able to invalidate the samples without result 


Purpose :

User need to undergo a long chain to invalidate the sample ,when it was already identified to invalidate at a earlier stage

  • If the sample was collected on the incorrect media.
  • User don't want to delete the sample which is the easiest way since the employee would ask about where are the results
  • To invalidate user cannot export the data since in this case there is no valid sample collected
  • The concept of the Bulk sample invalidate  is right now, we have no other option to invalidate except AFTER the results have been received.However, if they want to invalidate before sending the lab, we don't have this feature

Enhanced  System:

  • Invalidate Sample without entering results in the Sample List page by adding a new button as Sample Invalidate
  • This will be applicable to sample which doesn't have result entered 
  • User with specific permission should be able to see Sample Invalidate button to invalidate .This will not be dependent on any functionality and would appear for all roles ,default being unchecked
  • System would immediately send notification to configured email ids once a sample is invalidate
  • A invalidated sample will not be available while selecting sample for COC
  • In this version status of the Sample Invalidated are Result invalidated ,upcoming version it would be a new status as Sample Invalidated
  • Existing Data : No Change
  • Impacts :Sample Grid

  • Notification : Sample Invalidated

Existing System:

In the existing system there are 22 menu items ,which are not grouped to the solution category .

Some of the quick links in the home page needs to be added  


Purpose :

  • Having long menu list makes  user  skip important items in the list .
  • It  make the user lose clarity on performing a specific action as the menu structure  is huge
  • Increased number of mouse click reduces user experience 

Enhanced System:

  • Multiple activities of a solution category to be managed in single interface i.e the list page thus reducing number of mouse click and increase user experience 
  • concise menu structure as all the menu items will be inform of button in the listing page
  • The functionality will be same on button click as that of clicking on the navigational menu
  • Same as navigation menu ,the buttons in listing page would appear as per the permission
  • On clicking the button would redirect user to the relevant page  as it functioned when user clicked on navigational menu
  • New quick link for IH added in home page

Case Study : Assessments 

  • All the menu items of Assessments are grouped under a single category "Assessment" .
  • On clicking Assessment it would open the Assessment List page having the menu items links in form of buttons 
  • Buttons would appear based on permission which were applicable earlier to menu items

 PMP-47848 Exported sample Plan Record to show the associated QEA

Default : QRA exported to sample plan record would show associated QEA

Existing System:

There are no columns for Assessment ID and Title in Sample Plan Record for the stressors that are exported from Qualitative Risk Assessment to Sample Plan

                                                                                                                   

Purpose :

User unable to differentiate the  Sample plan record that is  exported from QRA  or added for a Sample Plan                                                                                                                                                         

Enhanced System:

Associate Sample Plan Record to have Assessment  title and Name column

It would display the Assessment ID and Name for those records which are exported from QRA to sample Plan Record 

The field would appear blank if they are added for the Sample Plan 

It will be included in SOA and views as well 

Existing Data : Old exported sample plan records will show blank values for Assessment ID and name

 PMP-49862 Sound level measurement to have Equipment "owned by" integrated

Default : Sound level measurement to have detailed equipment information section similar to other equipment like Air monitoring in the system

Existing System:

System currently maintains limited information for Sample level Measurement equipment .

Purpose : 

  • Gap .It needs to have more detailed information similar to other equipment i.e whether it belong to corporate level ,location level ,etc 

Enhanced  System:

  • For  Sound Level Measurement  Contractor Equipment Used section is removed
  • Similar to Air Monitoring Pump a new mandatory field  as drop down  "Sound Level Measurement Equipment owned by" with following options .
  • Selecting the field below would facilitate user to select equipment  and selected equipment would further display the Equipment details
  • System would  fetch data from the mentioned location for the following options
  • Corporate : Will show fetch value from module set up > Additional IH Equipment > Equipment type > Sound Level Equipment Created at corporate level
  • This Site: would fetch  value from Location set up > Additional IH Equipment > Equipment type > Sound Level Equipment Created for that location
  • Borrowed  from other site : Would fetch value from Location set up > Additional IH Equipment > Sound Level Equipment
  • Contractor : a comments section would appear
  • Existing Data :
  • Records marked with yes will have Contractor selected in drop down ,comments will be blank

  • Record marked with  NO ,Equipment created in Module set up /corporate   will have Monitoring Equipment owned by value as Corporate 

  • Record marked with  NO ,Equipment created in Location Set up    will have Monitoring Equipment owned by value as This Site

Purpose : Many of the fields displays static information and are hard coded .It needs to pull data dynamically

Enhanced System :

  • Employee Notification letter is revamped and redesigned to SSRS format
  • It will be applicable for both chemical and noise notification report

 PMP-44258 Exposure time  calculation  through bulk sample import templates

Default : Sample bulk import noise and chemical would not display Exposure Monitor time fields 

Existing System:

  • System is not considering the exposure time calculation for the result screen when a sample uploaded through import template chemical / Noise
  • As the fields to enter Exposure time in hour and minutes are missing 

Purpose : 

  • Gap

Enhanced  System:

  • System would calculate the exposure time in sample results when chemical  and noise sample are uploaded through import template through the New fields below
  • Total Employee Exposure time in Hour (Field Range : 0-23) 
  • Total Employee Exposure time in Minutes (Same field size and validation as in Application 0-59)
  • Calculated Total Employee Exposure time (Field Range : 1439 mints)- This will not be there in template but would autopopulate in application screen as per the entered time in template 
  • New field values will be used for sample result calculation for exposure time as done in application
  • Existing Data :No change to existing data

 PMP-50376 Combine Equipment and Dashboard in Sample Dashboard Summary

  • Existing Data :Would appear for all historical records

 PMP-50615 Count of Samples associated to Blank Samples

Default : System would not show the count of samples associated to a blank sample

Existing System:

  • System doesn't display the count of samples associated to a blank sample

Purpose : user unable to detect the blank sample usage count

Enhanced System :

  • In sample activity of a sample on selecting a blank sample from the Associate blank pick list  ,it would show a grayed out field below
  • Field name would be "Total Assignment of Blank to Samples"
  • It would show the current count of sample associated to the selected blank sample
  • In sample list a new column with hyperlink would appear "Sample Linked"
  • The column would display the count for blank samples only
  • On clicking the count it would open a pop up with list of samples associated to the blank sample :
  • Existing Data : Will display the count of sample associated with blank sample 
  • Impact : Sample Activity - Picklist ,Sample Activity ,Sample List
  • Cognos : Will be done in Future version

For the samples, 'Category' field is appearing as 'Class 111' , 'Class 1V' instead of Non- Detectable. 
“Not Detectable” class only works in Blank samples. The rest of samples are still appearing with other Class (IV, III…) instead of “Not Detectable”.


Enhanced System:

For Goodyear If Detection Code is “<“ then we classify as Non-detectable

  • Existing Data : will not reflect Non detect .Applicable to new records only
  • Impact : None
  • Cognos : No
