Existing System

  • Doesn't have the option to rename the document title after the document is released.  

Use Case / Purpose:

  • Allow user to rename document title at any point of time and status of the document
  • This would help the owner or coordinator to change the document title as per any correction required to the title. 
  • This would help the owner or coordinator to changes the title based on future requirement 

Enhanced System:

  • Removed the restriction from the title field.
  • User's having document Edit permission can change Document Title

PMP-82283 Auto populate only the filename without extension in the document title field

Configurable: Yes

  • Title: NA
  • Public/Private: NA

Existing System

  • After document upload, it's  auto populates the file name along with an extension to the document title field

Use Case / Purpose: 

  • Don't auto populate file extension to the title field
  • If the user doesn't remove the auto populated file extension, its remains in the title

Enhanced System:

  •  While uploading a file, only auto populate the file name without an extension

PMP-65897 As a location admin, I want the ability to set up my own location folder structure

Existing System

  • Document folder can be created from module setup 

Use Case / Purpose: 

  • Allow the location administrator to create any location specific document folder
  • No need to ask the corporate administrator to create a document folder for a location

Enhanced System:

  • Option to create location specific document folder
  • Option to select document folder based on Corporate or Location Folder hierarchy
  • The corporate folder will display the folder structure created from the module setup
  • Location folder will display only the folder created for that location
  • Location folder has both Public and Private document access feature

PMP-44070 As a user with the Add Folder permission, I want the ability to move a folder and all associated documents to a different folder

Configurable: NA

  • Public/Private: NA

Existing System

  • No option to move a folder and its associate child folders and files to another folder hierarchy
  • If required to move a folder hierarchy, the user needs to create the same hierarchy again under the targeted hierarchy and inactive or delete the existing hierarchy
  • Duplication of the file in the physical storage
  • Losing the document history and audit trails

Use Case / Purpose: 

  • Merging different document folders based on need
  • Organizing document folders under one hierarchy as the document folder hierarchy grows or policy change
  • Easy to move the folder hierarchy and its associated files with current information like change history, audit trails, etc.

Enhanced System:

  • Ability to move a folder and all associated documents to a different folder hierarchy
  • All the associate information and physical files will move as per the new hierarchy
  • All document history, approvals, and audit trails will remain with the document
  • The option is available both in the Corporate and Location folder setup
