Creating a New System View in the Manage Samples
Users have the ability to create a view in the SOA grid for the Sample List screen.
Step-by-step Instructions:
Creating a new system view for Samples List view:
- Click on the Modules icon.
- Click on the Industrial Hygiene menu item.
- Click on the Manage Samples.
- Click on the drop down menu next to Sample List.
- Click on Add New View.
- Fill in the details under the Manage View screen.
- Click on the Save button.

As per the filter applied for sample dates , records will appear .
Field Information:

View Details | View Name * Make Default View View Description Show View Description on Page | Name/Title of the new view being created. Required field. If check box is checked off, the next time the user goes to that screen, they will be at the new view being created. Optional field. Used to provide a description of the type of view being created.Optional field. If check box is checked, then this will display the description when hovering over the view name. Optional field. |
Select Filters | Defaults with Sample Date | Used to configure the time period. This field cannot be removed Additional fields can be added/removed by clicking on the add ( ) or remove ( ) button. Optional. |
Select Columns | Available Columns Directional Arrows Selected Columns Sorting Arrows | Has a search field to narrow down the search. Allows users to pick 1 or more values on the list to move to the selected columns list. Users can move selections left or right using the arrows (single arrows will move individual selections to left/right; double arrows will move all (except red items) to left/right) Contains the defaulted items that will be displayed as columns in red font. These items cannot be removed. Reset to Default button will remove any additional items that were moved over. Users can move selected items up or down using the sorting arrows (single arrows will move individual selections up/down; double arrows will move all items up/down) |
Sort | Defaults with IH Log Number | Users can select to sort in alphabetical order or in reverse alphabetical order. This field cannot be removed. Additional fields can be added/removed by clicking on the add ( ) or remove ( ) button. Optional. |
19.1 Update
- In IH Report Email if below check boxes are selected, then system to send email without any alert message even if "To" field is blank
- Send to employee
- Send to employee supervisor
- Applicable for all physical and chemical samples
- If employee is not mandatory in Sample Detail and user has not entered any employee or supervisor ,it should show the same validation message if To field is blank and Send to employee and supervisor is selected.
