Existing System: system did not allowed to configure and set regulatory wise noise settings for a noise sample .Unable to configure default setting  ,hence shows select option in page load

Purpose :

  • To make the system more user friendly we can have pre populated noise settings in Module set up  which would be configurable based on different country setting combination.
  • Rather than having to enter the criterion, threshold, and doubling every time for noise ,it would be convenient for user to configure and  include option to select ACGIH, OSHA PEL, OSHA AL, Custom, etc

Enhanced  System:

  • System would allow the user to pre-configure noise settings regulatory wise  at corporate level and also mark default setting which would appear as setting 1 in sample activity of noise sample
  • Module set up : " Noise Data Configuration " Add and Listing  page added
  • Noise Data Configuration - Add  : would have following fields (all mandatory)
  • Source : text box .Would show regulatory values as :ACGIH TLV,OSHA PEL,IEL,Country,State/Province
  • Criterion : drop down   ,Numeric , Limit : values as noise equipment setting  
  • Threshold: drop down   ,Numeric , Limit : values as noise equipment setting  
  • Exchange Rate :drop down   ,Numeric , Limit : values as noise equipment setting  
  • Status : Drop down ,active /inactive .Default -active .Inactive settings would not pre-populate in the application
  • Buttons :Save - Saves the added /updated information ,Close - Closes the page and displays the grid 
  • Noise Data Configuration - List  
  • The page would have only Add button ,Export to EXL,sorting and filter,delete
  • Grid Columns :Name ,country ,state ,Criterion,Threshold,Exchange Rate,status
  • Will have a default column ,on selecting the default column setting 1 in noise equipment will autogenerate the default regulatory and its associated values 
  • 2 regularities cant be made default at the same time 
  • Changes in Sample -Noise Equipment Setting
  • Regulatory name drop down field added 
  • Setting 1 : will take the default values selected in Module set up ,user can change it manually if needed 
  • Setting 2 and 3 - user need to select regulatory ,accordingly criterion,threshold ,exchange rate would populate as configured
  • Existing Data : Regulatory in noise equipment for noise sample would show select

 Calibration Equipment now with a attachment section

Purpose :User would require to upload the calibration certificate  to the Equipment which current system didn't facilitate

  • Impacts :Calibration Equipment attachments would appear both in module set up and location set up

  Direct read instrument bulk upload

Purpose : considering huge volume of sample creation of sample equipment  type "direct read instrument / direct monitoring employee known" in application which is created only one at a time and also approved by some of our customer bulk upload for direct read instrument sample was implemented

Enhanced  System:

  • A new option for sample import - direct read instrument  in Sample import utilities with Data Import Template and Import button similar to sample import-chemical
  • User should be able to import based on permission .Similar to Sample Import CO Pump .i.e Add functionality dependency with Import utility for Direct monitoring

  Deprecating PDF and Excel file icon in the Import Lab Results

Default : Excel and PDF icon will not appear in Save results excel file of Import lab results

Existing System Excel and PDF icon  appeared in Save results excel file sections of Import lab results 

Purpose : We found some inconsistency information in application(Record status value name in application screen and in export exl and pdf were inconsistent ) and while generating in excel and PDF .This being a tailoric grid didn't allowed to make modification .

Enhanced System : Deprecated the icon for excel and PDF in Save results excel file sections of Import lab results for now .Upcoming approach for this is to convert this to SOA in upcoming versions

  Version history component process for Qualitative Exposure Assessment

Existing System In current system  version history of a stressor is not maintained when its associated risk factors  modified 

Purpose :

  • With no version history in qualitative exposure assessment it was  difficult for the user to differentiate between the risk level for a stressor when we reduce the hazard , re-assess and differentiate between a risk reduction 

Enhanced  System:

  • New section added in stressor as "Version History" .It would appear for both chemical and physical stressor 
  • It would have the following columns :
  • Version  - would show the number of times changes to stressor risk factor have been made 
  • Date - risk factor modification date .Format - September 10 ,2018
  • Result - score and total exposure rating same as it appears in associate stressor Listing 
  • Each time a change made to a stressor risk factor ,system would maintain the version of the change  ,date  and Result (Score-Total Exposure Rating)
  • By default system will considered the first record creation  as version 1 
  • Each time the changes are made the version will get incremented by 1.(On each save button click the version will be incremented by 1)   
  • The changes for following risk factors will make the stressor undergo the version change : Exposure index ,Frequency index,Hazard rating ,Duration index,Dispersion
  • Existing Data : version for all existing data will appear as 1 
  • Impacts : Associate Stressor Listing
  • Reports : Qualitative Risk Assessment Details Report
  • Notification : No
  • Cognos : Yes

Purpose :client want to have some format changes , correct some punctuation and modify the units

Enhanced  System:

•After the sample date on the second row, a period (.) added
•Above OEL in the conclusion section renamed to Over Exposure
•A new line  started with where TWA = An eight

Purpose :Customer specific unit usage 

Enhanced  System:

•Updated the OEL unit for the chemical from MG/M3 to UG/M3 by dividing  MG/M3 results by 1000,
•The decimal units for the results, exposure, PPM results and PPM exposure limit rounded to two decimal places
