Creating an Audit Program
Users are able to create a protocol driven audit or non-protocol driven audit, which can be classified as a Corporate Audit or Site Audit. The following steps are available when creating a new audit program:

3. | Program Security | This tab will only be available if the Enable Security field, located under Advanced Details in the Program Details, was set to Program Level. | |
4. | Auditors / Team Members | Allows users to set up the auditors/team members for the audit. | |
5. | Notifications | Users will be able to create, modify or delete notification sets. | |
6. | Attachments | Users will be able to add, modify or delete attachments/supporting documentation. |
Step-by-step instructions:
Specific Example: Completing the Audit Program Details - Protocol Driven - Corporate Audit
- Click on Modules.
- Select Audit Management.
- Click on Create New from the menu.
Complete the Basic Details section:- Select Corporate as the Type of Audit.
- Select Yes for Protocol Driven.
- Choose the protocol from the Select Protocol field.
- Click the Save and Next button to complete the other steps of the Audit Program Setup or click on the Perform Audit to conduct the Audit.
Basic Details Fields Description

1. | Create New Audit Form/Use Audit Template | Allows the users to creating any new audit or select any predefined audit template for scheduling an audit. | |
2. | Select Audit Template | This field will only appear when user selects the Use Audit Template option. Allows users to select a predefined audit template to quickly schedule the audit. | |
3. | Type of Audit | User will be able to define the audit as a Corporate Audit or Site Audit. When Corporate Audit is selected, the Select Location field will become available for selection. | |
4. | Recurring Audit | Allows the users to select an audit as a repetitive audit or a one time audit. | |
5. | Protocol Driven | Allows users to define whether the audit is a protocol (checklist/questionnaire) driven or a non-Protocol (findings) audit. | |
6. | Select Protocol | This field will only appear if user selects Yes for Protocol Driven. Users will be able to select the protocol for the audit. | |
7. | Audit Program Type | Allows users to define the audit program type. Audit Program Type may also be defined to an audit protocol while creation of the protocol. | |
8. | Select Locations | Users can select locations for which the audit is to be scheduled. |
Advanced Details Fields Description

1. | Enable Security | Allows users to define whether the normal permissions (module level) will apply or whether special permissions are to be considered for that audit program. If special permissions are considered then an additional tab of Audit Program Security will be displayed. | |
2. | Require Action Items to be Verified | Allows users to set the rule for the audit program that any action item that would be created for the audit program will be needed to be verified before closing. | |
3. | Close Findings When All Action items Are Closed | Allows users to set the rule that any finding created will be closed when associated action items are closed | |
4. | Perform Risk Assessment To Determine If Action Item Is Required | Allows users to set the rule that to create any action item the auditor would need to perform risk assessments. |

System Admin can configure auto closer of an Audit Program.
- While creating an Audit Program, administrator can configure auto audit closure for every program
- Administrator have this option from both Web and Mobile
- Administrator has option to set default response for this field. By default field will have no response
Note : The Audit Notifications trigger immediately when the Audit is created without any lag time.
Notification(s) to the assigned users would be getting generated immediately after the user performs the actions such as creation of findings, creation of action item etc
